He sure seems to sound confident and seems to have the ‘inside’ scoop on who will be fine and which (as he calls idiots) will not.

So confident in his predictions. 🤔

What makes you think that the vaccinated will be fine?

You can already see the vaccines working and the virus is behaving predictably.

we are told that they do not prevent us from contracting the virus, or from passing it along to others.

I'm calling BS on that. It's all a big game of BS and I'm not interested in playing that game with this virus. I want the truth and the truth is as I see it, the vaccine does, in fact, reduce the transmission of the virus just like any other vaccine.

The virus will take the path of least resistance. It will adapt to preferentially infect the new susceptible hosts now that the elderly and immunocompromised are largely immune.

I also suspect that there’s a lot of lying in these polls. When I check for vaccine appointment availability online there’s typically plenty of open spots in ghetto areas but more filled up in the burbs. These ghetto dwellers are definitely not Republican.

Perhaps you are from the SW USA, but in the Midwest, most Republicans are vaccine hesitant. Liberals are getting the jab because they love Fauci and Gates

I can't speak for others, but if you are convinced that the CDC, NIH, and other Big Government cheerleaders of the vaccine are incorrigible liars - I can understand the reluctance to 'trust' this vaccine.
It has nothing to do with the concept of vaccines not being a good method of addressing specific diseases (although perhaps not appropriate for a coronavirus - due to its propensity to mutate quickly) - but more with the untrustworthy people trying to convince me to take it.
That, and the dreaded disease it is trying to address has a 99.9% recovery rate without doing anything (and with other 'anecdotal evidence' supporting HCQ (plus zinc) or Ivermectin treatments for the other 0.1%) ... taking a new, and unproven, vaccine treatment seems risky. And why are all of these people insisting that we take this risk? It just seems bizarre.

Why? I don’t typically care to speculate on the motives for why someone is ignoring facts and lashing out when they’re presented.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Around here, it’s mostly because they have an honorable commitment to concepts like individual liberty and constitutionalism and a traditional understanding of how things ought to be in this great country of ours. Sometimes you have to maintain a cultus around your core ideas. It may be better to hold the line against small things like transient and interpretable “facts” when the bigger idea is at stake.
I have vaccinated a lot of people who have previously had the virus.....
What are you a nurse, a PA, a pharm tech?
If someone previously had the virus they are immune. That is established science. You must not have a conscious (or any brains) to administer an EUA vaccine to such a person.
Yes, I understand, you were just following orders.
“I have a four year degree. I’m just under 40. I won’t get the vaccine. Let me explain.
My family and I all had covid. We all did quite well with beating the disease. For us, it really wasn’t a big deal.
So, we’re immune. At least for this year. The vaccine that’s still under EUA won’t make us any more immune. Perhaps next year, if I’m not exposed again naturally, and the vaccine is fully approved, and we feel it’s best for our family, we may get it.
Those of us with natural immunity are often left out of the equation when it comes to who will or won’t get the vaccine. It’s not a simple answer in most cases”
True, but you are missing out at some incredible virtue signalling.
Exactly. They seem to think that the only way to get immunity Is the Vax, not natural immunity like every other virus.
My wife and I started taking taking 4,000 iu of vitamin D3 daily when this flu thingie started a year ago. It turns out, we both had Covid but never knew it.
We will continue to enjoy our freedom and continue the fight against the mask and vaccination Nazis
It’s strictly the vaccinated who will be driving the mutations.
Then why the variants found in places like India and South Africa where there are hardly any vaccinated people?
More cnn, non-biased, honest to God, truth?.....
Like my dad told me over 40 yrs ago, when describing a man he knew quite well: “He’ll lie, even if the truth sounds better!”
I have a hard time believing it’s only 8% of Democrats. Certain Ethnic groups to 10 devote democrats seem to be one hold out. Plus, a lot of anti-vaxers are democrats.
Yup, cause only the ones who agree with them are “smart” and believe in “science”.
It does sound very familiar....
China planted them there?
Shear number of people infected?
How does that make what I said untrue anyways?
If the vaccinated cannot catch the original strain, all that’s left is for the mutations to travel through the population.
