We have no idea whether that percentage holds, but even if it does, that's a 90% drop in risk of infection. That's pretty good. At the start of Operation Warp Speed, we were told that anything over 50% was pretty good for the first available vaccines. 90% would have been beyond anyone's wildest dreams.
Boosters being tested right now by Moderna and Pfizer account for the specific mutations in the Indian variant. That efficacy will jump significantly for anyone who gets the booster when it's available in the fall. Seems like we're staying ahead of this thing really well.

In the context of this conversation, that was just a shitty thing to say. Beware, if you want to start comparing people to liberals, I would make the argument that people that eagerly take an experimental medical procedure at the behest of a government that has admittedly lied to them multiple times and are parroting what the CDC, WHO and a whole host of socialist/globalist "elites" are saying are way closer to acting like liberals than someone that is skeptical of the whole thing.
If you want to take the "vaccine" take it. I don't care. I'm skeptical, and have to wonder about the long term effects. At this point, I'm not taking it. I'm willing to deal with the chances of catching an endemic virus, with a 99.3% survival rate that effects a vast majority of people like the flu. So, leave me alone.
