ALL of SC’s Congressional delegation are Cheap Labor Express stooges, including Tim Scott.
He’s just not been as vocal as Flimsey Grahamnesty about it.

Since the now-defunct former USA is dead and gone, and we’ve seen the rise of an illegitimate tyrannical junta in DC, I now believe that Trump failed his supporters by not being sufficiently radical and revolutionary in his approaches to governance when he was president and had the backing of all patriotic Americans. We were clamoring for him to “fire” and eject all of the crooks, bring to trial all of the criminals, replace all of the career bureaucrats with political outsiders, to close and shut down all of the oppressive and onerous government agencies, and to essentially kick the table over and shake things up in dramatic ways. His supporters knew what needed to be done to save this country, but Trump couldn’t bring himself to do it when he had the full resources of the federal government at his command. Now it’s too late. GOPee Delenda Est!

Tim Scott is fine. He’s an equanimous statesmen at a time when we need warfighters. Maybe Scott is the future if communism is vanquished, but he’s definitely not the present or even the near future.

“”And if you want to see the future of the Republican Party, watch Tim Scott’s response to President Biden last night. He’s the future. That’s where we’re headed. We’re not preoccupied with the past, but looking forward.”

Republican voters will call bullsh!t on that right out of the gate.

This party has no interest in kumbaya pablum and surrender to the Neofascists.

None, except recreational ridicule.

“Can it, Donald. Without McConnell you don’t get 200+ judges and three SCOTUS confirmations. I don’t know how he does it, but he can unify the whole caucus, including the RINO’s, on judges.”

He didn’t unite the whole caucus. He lost some high profile lower court judges, and we were biting our nails through the last 2 SCOTUS nominations on whether our comfortable majority would barely hold.

Compare that to Schumer. If Breyer retires, they will pick a 45 year old Leninist, hold all of their Democrats and possibly pick off a couple of R’s. The difference is Schumer can make his conference march on the crucial votes and McConnell can tenuously hold 50 when he has votes to spare.

McConnell was good on judges, probably because he knew, as history has shown, that most of them were actually liberals.

Boy, good thing Trump didn’t start a 3rd party. Right, freeper pubbie fluffers?

Otherwise he might be able to ditch mitch. Instead, we’re still stuck with Mitch. And Mccarthy. And Liz...

Yeah, good thing Trump listened to all those who said don’t start a 3rd party, it would be the end of the world. Lots here on FR.

Maroons.

Why?

McConnell okey doked the President early on and stabbed him in the back.

But but, what about the judges? He did that. Good. That’s his job. He could have so much more. Especially in November 2020. He opted not to.

This "future of" talk is dissembling, weary and not helpful - "future" is here, NOW. The battles are joined NOW. This "future" stuff is deflection and weasel talk.
