Which is probably why it’s an exceptional case. Most cities in the country that “go blue” never come back. Citing one exceptional example that once in a blue moon does manage to elect some Republicans doesn’t change this fact.

That one example just so happens to be the biggest and most powerful city in the country, with quite a history on ballot fraud from the Dems, which still didn't prevent the Dems from losing to the Republicans for FIVE straight terms.
