Um, thanks to the electoral college, all national elections are local/state elections. The new laws being promulgated by Republican state congressmen will deal with Dem ballot fraud. That's what the laws are designed for.

Sure, yet they’re still national elections nonetheless. Have you any examples of a country where communists have gotten bold enough to openly and blatantly rig a national election, and then their power grab was stopped simply by passing some new laws in the legislature? I can’t think of any, and nobody I have posed the question to on FR has ever been able to give me a single example yet. Surely, if it had ever happened, we have the collective brain power here to have noticed it...

Right, just like gun laws are designed to stop criminals from getting guns. We know how well that works, since criminals always are conscientious about obeying the law.
