Punish the dissident/patriot generals, fire them, take away their pensions. The rest fall in line.

Deposing governments is a grand tradition in France, but not here. So I don’t have any problem, and welcome, French officers having these views. But if they’re going to do it, do it. If you’re going to talk about it, the civilian government has the right to fire every single one of them before they can act
