Presumably, wearing the mask over your nose would protect you from spring respiratory allergies. Even better is taking anti-inflamatory Vitamin C. I have various respiratory allergies from house dust to ragweed, and having been taking from 3 to 7 grams a day of Vitamin C for 45 years. If I had not I probably would have advanced to asthma. Before starting house cleaning (stirring up the house dust) I take 1 or 2 grams of C. Works fine. My father had terrible spring allergies. After I started him taking C as needed and Pantothenic Acid (200 to 500 mg a day) he never suffered again. Both vitamins protect the Adrenal Glands.
I’ve always stayed away from vitamin C supplements (probably a dumb idea) because years ago I noticed a correlation between drinking OJ and breaking out on my face. Didn’t know it could help with allergies. I might try them. I’m guessing my system just doesn’t like the acid but the isolated vitamin would be fine.
