Mr. Goldman is Jewish. His daughter was going to the Abraham Joshua Heschel School in Manhattan. “We are a unique pluralistic Jewish day school, emphasizing academic excellence as well as awareness of social and communal responsibility through an offering of a superb integrated curriculum of general and Judaic studies.”
I wonder if Mr. Goldman sees the obvious echoes of 1930s Germany where the Jews were scapegoated for no other reason than Hitler needed a common enemy. Now whites are scapegoated and made a convenient enemy for no other reason than skin color. I wonder if he lost family in the Holocaust and sees it happening again.
I also wonder if he will continue to vote for the party that supports (and now mandates) CRT.
He has taken an important first step.
I once struggled through reading Hannah Arendt’s “The Origins of Totalitarianism”, trying to understand how the European Jews allowed themselves to get caught up in the Holocaust. It helped in understanding some of it, but it still escapes me.
I cannot see how any Jewish person can be a leftie, after the German National Socialist Workers Party (NAZI’s) destroyed so many of them.
NYC does have a large number of Jews who still vote Dem (#ComDem).
The ones living year round in Florida do not tend to be so leftist.
