Don’t watch the woke infected social justice BS sport(s) anymore anyhow. No giving a crap one bit.
I don’t really CARE, but QB Russel Wilson has been a JOY to watch since he came to Wisconsin in 2012.
Maybe BLM could get the white QBs to pay reparations to all of the black guys who weren’t good enough to be QB? Russel and other black QBs get a pass, of course!
I mean, that only seems FAIR in this upside down world. ;)
P.S. When EVERYTHING is racist, NOTHING is racist.
Well, there is that
The biggest factor in success for college QB’s transitioning to the NFL is the coaching they receive in the pros. Top prospects typically land on the weakest teams and fail. Sometimes they become a reclamation project for a competitive team and make good on the second-chance.
Any QB with decent mobility, a rocket arm and a skinny playbook can run wild for 6 - 10 games. It’s what you do after the NFL defenses take away what you do best that counts.
So what if that’s even true? Big deal. The NFL also prefers black running backs and wide receivers. Big whoop.
If you’ve ever seen Max Kellerman on ESPN, his sole goal in life is to be louder and more controversial than anyone else. He’s a first class attention whore.
Old news!
More to the point, what is the racial percentages of all NFL players in comparison to the Nation’s racial percentages...
Gay, dyke, & tranny NFL QBs are just around the corner...
Justin Fields should be drafted ahead of Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, and Trey Lance. He is not a one-year-wonder and has played really well against ranked teams.
Adam Thielen, Cooper Kupp, etc. aren't white? I didn't realize that.
Marcus Mariota?
It was hilarious because a lot of idiots went on talking about Marcus Mariota being a pocket passer because and Jameis Winston being a running quarterback because he's black.
The reality is that was completely false. Winston was a pocket passer, not a runner. Mariota was a running quarterback, even though he's white.
But many idiots, including here on FR, didn't grasp that.
And not all QBs are so easily divisible. Hall of Famer Steve Young was a great pocket passer, even though he's one of the greatest running quarterbacks in hstory.
You claim that Steve Young is black?
You claim that Tim Tebow is black????
"If you don't hire a left, it's theft."
"Hire a brother who throws with the other."
"Right ain't right."
"Throw wrong and score long."
Dak Prescott sucks.
Dude aint worth 100k a year much less a 40 million contract.
The NFL is a disgrace in many ways, and so are its corporate sponsors.
Jerry had no choice after shelling all that money for Ezekiel Elliott. That was the final straw for me for watching football. I can’t support paying thugs like that, especially when running backs are a dime a dozen, and Elliott is an average at best running back.
Kyler Murray - He is definitely excellent rusher, but he proved in college that he can make any pass, and can do anything any passing QB can do. His only knock was he's short.
Lamar Jackson - Definitely more of a running QB. He was underrated as a thrower, but he definitely did have the range of skills Kyler Murray had. Still, in his first season as a starter, he had higher than a 66% completion percentage and 113.3 QB RTG. [For comparison, Aaron Rodgers has only gotten that high for a season twice in his career, Tom Brady was only higher than that ONCE in his career. Neither were in their first season as a starters]
Taysom Hill is a quarterback known way more for his running than his passing. Do you claim Taysom Hill is black?
Basketball can be learned from one's peers. Becoming a good quarterback takes coaching. A quarterback's first coach is his father.
In the early 70 and mid-70s, that Boomer crowd had discovered weed, acid rock, and some even went disco. The Zeitgeist was still fresh post-Vietnam, and even if they opposed the war, Mao's crimes against humanity were still fugly fresh.
In the late 70s and early 80s, that late-Boomer/early Gen X generation had punk music, which made free speech absolutely paramount. With few exceptions -- Jon Stewart born in '62 but he's a special kind of motard -- Johnny Rotten called the Queen everything but a you-know-what, and Biafra and Rollins and many many others fought speech they didn't like with more free speech.
Then it went straight to hell.
Late Gen Y/all Gen Y/early Millenials, video games took the place of learning, so no homework completed, so the only way to get a 2.5GPA and still get to skrewl your way to university was to ape exactly what the teacher said, not teaching, not free speech, but mere mimicry. The teachers settled for it because socialism, but it still required ridiculous artifacts like jerking the slack out of the SAT by 200 points, so your now dumbass kids could still get into State U.
Mid/late Millenials, forget it, now just repeating agitprop dogma is fully enshrined as "learning", and so the MSM/Derp State is loading social media with the same complete lack of expectations. And these kids are truly as dumb as dogshit.
Compute the average age of the ComPost/NYeT/MSM/White Hospice staffers -- the kowtowing no-nothing clueless mandarins who fill social media and the cable with gak -- and get back to me.
TJ Ducklo prime example, picture is next to "clueless" in the Millenial dictionary, national press secretary for Biden campaign, gets into the White Hospice as #2 for messaging, then verbally assaults a, wait for it, Millenial reporter, which in turn highlights his Millenial girlfriend Alexi McCammond's nasty-**** tweets, and she loses Teen Vogue EIC before ever setting foot in her new office.
Since Ken Stabler and Bart Starr, have their been any that were good in the NFL?
Richard Todd? Jeff Rutledge? Joe Namath is the most overrated QB in the universe. 50 more interceptions than touchdown. An overall losing record. Lifetime QB RTG 65, never higher than 74.3. 50% completion percentage.
The jury is still out on Tua and Hurts. If I were a GM, I'd be more eager to draft other Alabama players than Jones.
