I support Donald Trump 100% but Jeff Sessions let him down severely. All can be traced to Sessions’s reluctance to prosecute the Swamp. Barr also displayed a lack of fortitude in prosecutions of political actors in the Swamp.

Each Attorney General Trump would nominate would have to get through the Senate, namely McConnell.
What Sessions, Barr, McConnell displayed was an institutionalized lack of honesty and commitment to the Rule of Law. They are part and parcel to the Swamp protecting the Swamp.
He didn't have to have an AG he could have operated with Temporary AGs if he had some people lined up that were actually honest.
Many of us here tried to criticize Trump for his lack of perception concerning Barr and Ray but we were shouted down. Trump was the greatest President in my lifetime but he made some really bad decisions with his staff and failed to recognize them as bad, in fact he praised Bob Barr on his last moments in office, hope he doesn't still think he was a good guy.
Do you remember Scooter Libby? He had done nothing wrong, but a zealous prosecutor continually persecuted him until he finally found a way to make "criminal charges" against Libby stick.
What happened to Libby can be done to anyone. If the Deep State perceives a threat to its power, it will come down with extreme force on the threat.
