It was a no-win situation and that is exactly what the Left wants.

To Leftists of all stripes, this is completely reasonable and logical.
It should be a proud moment for a parent, seeing their kid get in their first knife fight, and sticking a shiv into their first victim. But then some cop comes along and spoils it all, just because he can.
I remember kids in school carrying folding knives. At break, they would set around talk and sharpen their blades.
Never saw anyone pull one in anger. Only saw ONE incident in which an Anglo and a Hispanic were squaring off for a fight when a third Hispanic got behind the Anglo. We then spotted a small knife in his hand.
Thankfully everything was defused before any real fight began. That was in Carlsbad NM High School back in 1962.
