A police officer has the legal right...the *duty*,actually...to use force to protect him/herself *and* others.It's not difficult to understand.

The dead girl was clearly within a fraction of a second of having horribly stabbed another person. The police officer reasonably,and logically,believed that that person was in grave,and immediate,danger...so he fired.

When I viewed the video and the still pics it became quite obvious that this was as righteous a police shooting as it gets.......PERIOD!
