Menthol cigarettes are already banned in Massachusetts. The last time I was in the city some guy was standing out in front of Home Depot saying "Kools ... Kools." I guess he had bought a few packs/cartons in New Hampshire or Rhode Island and was trying to sell them.

There's a big debate about whether banning menthol cigs is racist ... or not racist. For activists menthol cigarettes are themselves racist, but people who like them are going to be really p____d off. Some people can't live without them.

I remember back in the 60s there were guys selling low tax Kentucky cigarettes in Cleveland out of car trunks at factory shift change times.
