After one year of training and another year of volunteering and more training, I’m told that I cannot volunteer as a Master Gardener without wearing a mask. 90% of all volunteer work we do is outside. I guess it was the rule last year too but most people ignored it. The garden where I worked last year is on the fairgrounds where they are now doing vaxes and also using two of the buildings for trials so that they can social distancing. I’m pretty much done with it.

Volatile molecules are an order of magnitude or more smaller than viruses. In any case we aren't trying to stop viruses, just droplets which are 10 times larger than viruses. The mask works by electrostatic charge, not by "blocking".

While I agree with Tucker most of the time, I can’t agree to harass strangers not doing me any harm. This violates the rule of “mind your own business”. We can’t know the situation of strangers - perhaps they wear the mask for other reasons. I hate them & don’t wear them except in government mandated situations, but I don’t care if others wear them.
I will remind everyone that a large portion of the world population is super stressed out. If you unnecessarily harass a stranger you might wish you had not. If you are looking for trouble, go into a biker bar & yell “Harleys are for pussies”.
My favorite thing to do when in a store is to say good morning to other unmasked people and starring Karens.
