Iran’s Foreign Minister’s leaked revelations are eye-opening: Among other things, he proves that Trump’s foreign policy was working

On Sunday, news broke that a private interview that Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif had with an economist had been leaked to a London-based Persian news service, which then shared it with the New York Times. There are several interesting points to the conversation, with two of the most striking being (a) Javid’s acknowledging that Trump’s decision to assassinate Qassim Suleimani was a powerful strike against Iran and (b) a reminder of why the Biden administration is making a terrible mistake when it politicizes the American military.

Regarding General Suleimani, Zarif effectively says that Trump could scarcely have come up with a better way to damage Iran:

In the portions that were leaked, Mr. Zarif does praise the general and says they worked productively together in the prelude to the U.S. invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. He also says that by assassinating him in Iraq, the United States delivered a major blow to Iran, more damaging than if it had wiped out an entire city in an attack.

Nevertheless, Zarif wasn’t that sad to see General Suleimani go:

The general, Mr. Zarif said, undermined him at many steps, working with Russia to sabotage the nuclear deal between Iran and world powers and adopting policies toward Syria’s long war that damaged Iran’s interests.

The reason that Suleimani was such a problem for Zarif touches upon the second point that the Foreign Minister made during the conversation, which is that the government doesn’t control Iran; the military does:

“In the Islamic Republic the military field rules,” Mr. Zarif said in a three-hour taped conversation that was a part of an oral history project documenting the work of the current administration. “I have sacrificed diplomacy for the military field rather than the field servicing diplomacy.”

[snip]

On it, Mr. Zarif confirms what many have long suspected:

If you look behind the leak, the situation in Iran becomes clearer, which is this - Behind all the public posturing, the Iranian government doesn’t control Iran; the military does.

In Iran, there is a complete fusion between the military and the government. Moreover, because the military has weapons, the government is subordinate to it in many ways. What we see as a theocracy is, in fact, a theocratic military dictatorship with civilian puppets fronting for the military.

AND THIS John Kerry ‘Funneled’ State Department Funds to Daughter’s n/p Organization

Dr. Vanessa Kerry’s nonprofit organization, Seed Global Health, was awarded Peace Corps funding before and after her father, John Kerry, became Obama’s U.S. Secretary of State.....

Snopes-—David Emery / Published 8 December 2016

On 12 September 2016, a Daily Caller report appeared detailing claims that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry “funneled” millions of taxpayer dollars from the Department of State through the Peace Corps into a nonprofit foundation headed by his daughter, Dr. Vanessa Kerry:

More than $9 million of Obama’s Department of State money has been funneled through the Peace Corps to a nonprofit foundation started and run by Secretary of State John Kerry’s daughter, documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation show.

Obama’s Department of State funded a Peace Corps program created by Dr. Vanessa Kerry and officials from both agencies, records show. The Peace Corps then awarded the money without competition to a nonprofit Kerry created for the program.

Vanessa Kerry, 39, is Secretary Kerry’s younger daughter. After graduating from Harvard Medical School, she completed her residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where she now works as a critical care physician. Kerry also serves as the director of the Program in Global Public Policy and Social Change at Harvard Medical School, and as CEO of the nonprofit organization she helped conceive and launch in 2011, Seed Global Health (initially known as the Global Health Service Corps).

The organization recruits and provides financial assistance to volunteer health professionals who train medical workers in less developed countries, under the aegis of the Global Health Service Partnership (GHSP), a joint project of the Peace Corps Response program, the Presidents’ Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and Seed Global. The partnership sent 72 volunteers to three African countries in 2012 and 2013, according to Dr. Kerry, where they trained roughly 7,200 doctors, nurses, and midwives.

The article before us lays out a case for questioning the ethical propriety of Seed Global Health’s funding, without competitive bidding, by federal agencies overseen by Dr. Kerry’s father:

Initially, the Peace Corps awarded Kerry’s group — now called Seed Global Health — with a three-year contract worth $2 million of State Department money on Sept. 10, 2012, documents show. Her father was then the chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, which oversees both the Department of State and the Peace Corps.

Seed secured a four-year extension in September 2015, again without competition. This time, the Peace Corps gave the nonprofit $6.4 million provided by Obama’s Department of State while John Kerry was secretary of state.

Where did Obama get the billions of tax dollars he gave to Iran?

Obama's $1.3B giveaway to Iran was paid in cash Jan 22 and Feb 5 from a little-known fund administered by the US Treasury.
The so-called Judgment Fund is made up of tax dollars Congress has permanently approved in the event "it's needed"....(cue laugh machine here)

SOURCE: fiscaltreasury.gov. -----The Judgment Fund was established to pay court judgments and Justice Department compromise settlements of actual or imminent lawsuits against the government. It is administered by the Judgment Fund Section, which is a part of the United States Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service. The Judgment Fund Internet Claims System (JFICS) is the application used to process all Judgment Fund claims.

The Judgment Fund is a permanent, indefinite appropriation available to pay judicially and administratively ordered monetary awards against the United States. The Judgment Fund is also available to pay amounts owed under compromise agreements negotiated by the U.S. Department of Justice in settlement of claims arising under actual or imminent litigation, if a judgment on the merits would be payable from the Judgment Fund. The statutory authority for the Judgment Fund is 31 U.S.C. 1304.

If funds for paying an award are otherwise provided for in the appropriations of the defendant agency, the Judgment Fund may not pay an award. A federal agency may request that payment of an award be made on its behalf from the Judgment Fund only in those instances where funds are not legally available to pay the award from the agency's own appropriations.

Amounts paid vary significantly from year-to-year. Federal agencies are not required to reimburse the Judgment Fund except when cases are filed under the Contract Disputes Act (CDA) or the No FEAR Act (Notification and Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation Act).

Contact judgment.fund@fiscal.treasury.gov or 202-874-6664.

If something Trump was doing was working, the public will never hear a whisper of this.

The Iranian Idiot also proved the long standing fact that Lurch Kerry is a traitor, and has been since the Vietnam War.
