I wish there was something to take to combat these side effects. Maybe women need to take testosterone pills for a week before and after the shot? Some women have adequate testosterone levels but some do not. I have been battling pathetically low free testosterone levels for awhile. Women don’t need a lot of testosterone, but we do need a little, and unless you’ve tested it....Considering women are being given the same doses as men despite often having lower body weight, plus have a hormonal disadvantage (or advantage depending on how you look at it) it doesn’t really seem like a great idea to keep going along as we are without taking a closer look at this.
