Apple Inc (AAPL.O) on Monday said it will establish a new campus in North Carolina that will house up to 3,000 employees, expand its operations in several other U.S. states and increase its spending targets with U.S. suppliers.

I’d rather have them building here in the research triangle than building in China. There will be more good jobs and more reasonable cost of living for transferees.

A lot of people who are leaving New York and California and other hell holes are actually Republicans. So 3,000 people working for Apple is going to tilt NC that much? North Carolina is also a major blue collar manufacturing state and those industries also keep moving to the state.
