Doug Collins is not running for Senate or Georgia governor in 2022

Former U.S. Rep. Doug Collins ruled out a run for U.S. Senate or other public office in 2022, ending speculation that he could challenge newly elected Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock after a failed special election bid last year.

The Gainesville Republican had been seriously considering launching another campaign for Senate after his third-place finish in 2020 and would have been the biggest name in the still-evolving Republican field against Warnock, a pastor whose victory in January made him the first Black U.S. senator in Georgia history.

But Collins had also sent signals that he would remain in the private sector with the start of a popular new conservative talk show and joining a north Georgia law firm. In a statement Monday, Collins said it was “goodbye for now but probably not forever.”

Vernon Jones is challenging Kemp for Gov. and I think he’ll win.

Yeah it’s true people didn’t show up to vote in that runoff. But they knew it was already fixed. It was rigged just like Nov 3 so voting was futile.

Giuliani even said you could watch the votes change in real time on those machines again.

Also it’s been said Collins actually won but again the fraud happened. And without fraud Perdue won so there would have been no need for a runoff.

Also as much as the media have wanted to turn Georgia blue for many years, Georgia is still red. After all the fraud from Nov 3 is exposed, and it will be, everyone will see it.

If he wasn’t dead, Pat Swindell would probably beat Kemp in the primary.

Thank Collins.

The man has no presence. No personality. I did not vote for him... and would not vote for him in the future.

The idiot was more interested in attacking Loeffler than he was interested in attacking the dem.

In short, Collins is a Casey Cagle @sshole.

Vernon Jordan is talking about a run for governor and he is very popular with republicans and democrats here. If I were Kemp, I’d retire. Trump asked Hershel Walker to take on Warnock an that would be a good GOP candidate.

Georgia’s not down yet. Just because the dems stole two elections here this year doesn’t mean they’ll get a third one. Everyone is still upset with the democrats wins, knowing they were not legal. That may hurt the dems the next time around,
