Longtime Rush Limbaugh producer James Golden, known as "Bo Snerdley," will be launching a podcast about the late conservative talk show host.

"It is a tremendous honor to host this tribute podcast series and I will do my very best to make Rush proud and provide his vast audience with a true representation of our beloved host," Golden said to BizPac Review.

The podcast will be hosted on iHeartRadio starting on May 12.

Limbaugh died in February at 70 years old from stage 4 lung cancer.

"I'll just tell you, from personal interactions, you would be hard-pressed to find a greater brand ambassador and believer in this radio program and person grateful to you than James," host Todd Herman said on his show Monday.

"Honestly wish they let James Golden be the successor to the “Golden” EIB mic."

Yes, what are we doing here? Winterble is Caspar Milquetoast, never liked Herman or any of the others, and Steyn has signed-off on ever doing it again.

Bo is not perfect but with the right producer he could make it interesting -- it wouldn't be Rush but as a conservative call-in show it would be ok.

Frankly I think Bannon owns Rush's space now, but he has to dump those sidekicks and revamp the show to where he is driving the message and not letting these endless string of goddamn Sneetches run their mouths on Zoom...

Crowder is the closest to Rush in terms of mixing the humor with the politics.

The Limbaugh broadcast was actually a running conversation between Rush and Snerdley, with the audience as the third party.

I will listen to this because I have the utmost respect for James. After this, it is time to move on. We need new great host, with the same love of America that Rush had, but with an entirely new impression...

Each episode will have a theme about something that happened to Rush? I think it’s good that he is doing a podcast on Rush. There are so many podcasts out there that one about Rush Limbaugh with James hosting is a good idea.

“Crowder is the closest to Rush in terms of mixing the humor with the politics.”

But he’s Canadian. What about Mark Levin?

Crowder was born on July 7, 1987 in Detroit, Michigan. Crowder’s mother was French Canadian, and at the age of 3, his family moved to the Montreal suburb of Greenfield Park, Quebec, Canada where he would live for the rest of his childhood.

I haven’t commented yet..
When Rush made the announcement, bad news.. The country needed his voice more than ever.

I had just gone thru 2 years seeing my dear son battle leukemia.. And lost. It takes time to get on with what is left of life.. And I said I cant go thru this again with Rush.. He meant so much to us.. And I know the days and I know the outcome

Our world is being trashed by rampant evil and power hungry idiots and they want any semblance of Jesus Christ removed.

Listened to Rush going back to the late 1980’s when I lived in the NYC area. My job required a great deal of driving from account to account thru out northern NJ, portions of southern NY state and southern New England. Rush was a genius at what he did, no question, leave it as it was & is. These tribute shows are crap and come across as fill ins while they search for a replacement. Sort of like this Alex Trebek crap where they are trying out guest hosts to replace him on Jeopardy. No one currently can come close to replacing Rush … he’s one of a kind that only comes down the pike every 50 years or so … there are no current candidates that are remotely close to replacing Rush.

If anybody should be heir to the Golden EIB Microphone, it should be Mark Steyn. He is the man who can best articulate conservatism in a Limbaugh-esque fashion, with humor and gags, but with serious commentary.

Mr. Steyn apparently signed up on Free Republic to make one post about his future with the EIB Network:

Steve Deace has bren my go to show for ten years and that won’t change, but I will try this show out. I loved Rush and will appreciate the tribute but I hope James makes it about James Golden too. IOW I wanna know Bo!

“Snerdley carries a lot of weight with me”

Bump

He is great. And he is smart. He did a series of video interviews back a number of years. He is an amazing man in his own right. He was Rush’s screener, and did an excellent job. He worked for Rush for a LONG TIME.
