In the debate over whether one should or should not get the COVID vaccination, much has been said about the “science.” However, I’m not sure any encyclopedic knowledge of “science” is required to make this health decision. Simple statistical analysis should suffice to inform one’s ultimate decision.
Statistics is primarily a study of probabilities. Fortunately, as regards COVID mortality rates, these probabilities are now known. That is, COVID mortality statistics broken down by age cohorts are now “known knowables.”
For example, through statistics as of April 7, the odds an American under the age of 25 would die from COVID were 1-in-106,217. On the extreme other end of the age spectrum, the odds an American 85 or older would die from the disease were an eye-opening 1-in-39.4. (Not surprisingly, albeit under-reported, the largest category of COVID victims by age cohort is Americans 85 and older).
This means that the probability a person in our country’s oldest age cohort (85 and older) will die from or with COVID is 2,696 times greater than the nation’s youngest citizens (those under the age of 25).
Given these statistics, If I was much older, I would almost certainly get the vaccine. But since I’m not in this age group, I don’t think there’s any pressing need for me to get the vaccine. That is, I can afford to wait and learn of any possible long-term (or short-term) negative effects.

How about just take vitamin D-3 supplements instead? That is proof against normal flu and cold virii and will keep one out of he hospital if one should get WuHanFlu. The common characteristic of people who go to the hospital with CCP flu is low levels of vitamin D. 8 members of my family got it in February-March of last year and only two were sick enough to stay in bed one day. Two others got antibody tests months later and were positive. We all have supplemented with D3 for years.

I eat healthy. I work out five to six days a week. I’m outside most of the day. I’m near 40.
I’ve caught and recovered from covid. It was no worse than seasonal allergies for me.
I’ll not get the vaccine this year as I’m immune. Maybe next year if it seems natural immunity doesn’t last and the vaccine trials are complete and certified.

If they’re sure to be certified, why doesn’t the FDA just certify now?
Much like the experimental anthrax vaccine i was forced to take, once it was made optional to servicemen, it was suddenly approved by the FDA.
At least I’ll be able to gather anecdotal evidence of the side effects and efficacy of the vaccine before next year.

Because when the FDA certifies the alleged vaccines, the makers of these faux medicines no longer are protected against lawsuits.

Just my thoughts.......would I rather my company pay for lawsuits or would I rather be charged and go to prison?

Anthrax vaccine ... yes I remember standing around the hospital tent, with my colleagues looking through the PDR before taking it to provide defense against bio warfare. That was pressure.
I’m doing my research Now. Every day I read someone’s got a blood clot a stroke. Some dolt takes it while pregnant or breastfeeding with dire consequences.
Why? They’re not getting compensated by the Air Force. They’re not essential personnel signed on to care for guys on the front lines.
Yes the fda moved to approve it after it was found to be needed by more than just a few thousand dairy farmers. 10,000 at the time. So what?
I’m not touching this thing with a ten foot pole. Plus they’re abortion tainted. Anthrax was studied before widespread use by the abortion happy government use of aborted fetuses to study and even use in the vaccine.
