You don’t even need a can on a 22LR rifle firing subsonics.
Haven't gotten around to experimenting with the Aguila subsonic loads though...
OTOH the .22wmr is a different ball game for rimfire bolt guns. I really like my Marlin, but it's loud. I've never shot a coyote with it but I would if it's getting in my chicken coop...
