“If I’m anywhere with bears, especially Grizzly, 454 Casull is the min.”
I fired one of those a few years ago. The word that came to mind was: Stout (and I don’t mean Guinness).
A few years ago, Mrs. Chandler bought me a Smith & Wesson 460V, which shoots .45 Colt, 454 Casull, and 460 S&W Magnum. It was a hoot to shoot, but since I am not a hunter and never travel to grizzly country, after a few glorious (and expensive!) trips to the range, I sold it.
Left to right: .460 S&W Magnum, .454 Casull, .44 Magnum, .45 ACP, .22LR
