This is pretty perceptive.

Some consequences of the charge against and trial of Officer Chauvin are found here:
Former MPD Officer Derek Chauvin’s Divorce Finalized
A Minnesota judge has approved a divorce settlement between the former Minneapolis police officer who placed his knee on George Floyd’s neck and the officer’s wife, according to redacted court documents made public Thursday.
A proposed settlement that was filed publicly last month would have awarded Kellie Chauvin the net profits from the couple’s Oakdale home, which lost its value due to vandalism, and the title to their Florida home, which was also vandalized. The Star Tribune reported at the time that they also planned to split debts and money in their bank accounts. Kellie Chauvin would have received roughly $703,718 in the settlement and Derek Chauvin would have received $420,768.
It’s unknown how that proposal compares to the settlement finalized Tuesday. A message left with Kellie Chauvin’s attorney, Amanda Mason-Sekula, was not returned Thursday. Derek Chauvin represented himself in the divorce.
I guess a woman standing by her man is to old school these days.
That’s a fair amount of assets to split for a 45 year old policeman.
I would assume that this is a defensive measure to protect his family from the coming civil lawsuits against him.
later
Is that a crime?
Was he falsely conviced?
Was he given a fair and impartial trial?
Does his wife deserve to be destroyed financially too? No mention of children.
I don’t believe any of the Propaganda in the Media. Especially about this incident.
It is about preserving assets from the Lawyer fees.
My bet is if you were in such a situation, you would think about that.
The Left is using this for their agenda. They will stop at nothing destroying his life and that of his wife.
Guilty or not, he did not get an impartial trial.
Period.
Thank you.
After consideration of your comments I agree the decision to separate may be an act of love and consideration.
I have a problem believing the cowardice of the government at the Federal, State an local level allowing the lawlessness to go unpunished. I find myself actually feeling shame on behalf of those exhibiting such cowardice and simply cannot imagine how they can live with themselves or face their friends and family.
No, it’s not a crime, and wasn’t a commentary on the trial. It was just an observation.
I don’t listen to the media. I don’t have the energy to be exposed to propaganda any more, and that is what most of what’s now called ‘news’ is.
That said, it’s legitimate to wonder how a 45 year-old policeman accumulates a home plus well over $1 million in cash or cash equivalents by that age. The average salary of police officer in Minneapolis is $61,000/year. I don’t care what anyone makes, as long as it’s done legally and above board. I’ll assume his was both.
” those exhibiting such cowardice “??
Worse than cowards, many are bought. Paid in full to deliver chaos and subject and destroy this nation.
Make no mistake. THAT is their objective and the globalist pukes and international bureaucraps gloated on what they did on November 3-4, 2020. They committed an Act of War (Pearl Harbor II) against the USA and were aided and abetted by many Federal Agency Bureaucraps inside our own government. The ones who have all taken the oath to Protect and Defend the Constitution, and they did the opposite and betrayed it.
You can agree or disagree with what I stated. But I’ve seen enough. The only path out of this comes at the State Level. Or if that fails the un-trodden path of a Convention of States. Yes the mechanism is there but has never ever been used. It is the last possible step to be taken before the unthinkable.
Yes. I also said I would assume his was earned fairly and honestly.
That said, there have been plenty of stories here on FR about public employees making ridiculous amounts of money because of overtime scams etc.

Those aren’t private issues, because it’s taxpayer money. It’a a legitimate consideration - just like wondering how people like Pelosi (and just about everyone else in public office) become rich is also a legitimate consideration.
((( MEDIA ))) deception
YES
The POLs are bought, bribed and blackmailed into subjection. The top vermin like Pelosi are Totally Evil. They serve the wrong master, they are servants of the Father of Lies.
