When they find him guilty and they will, despite all the evidence to the contrary, this will be the playbook going forward. Kyle Rittenhouse will be sacrificed along with those charged in connection with January 6th. We now live in a Banana Republic where the law means nothing and threats of violence are rewarded.
Rittenhouse is a very different case and they’re going to need to water down those charges significantly to have any chance at a conviction. Maybe assault and negligent discharge of a firearm. Anything else and they have no chance.
Rittenhouse will be acquitted easily. Prosecutor may even drop the charges.
