If you think we have hyperinflation now wait until China starts calling in our debt to them. We will be burning dollars for heat like they did in the Weimar Republic.
We stopped at the grocery store Sunday afternoon for a “FEW” things. Not a full run.
The cart was about half full. $208.
Last time we did a full run it was almost $350.
Less than ten years ago, we could fill the cart and it was $125-150 max.
We have had inflation now for years.
I drive a 2012 Toyota Tacoma. I paid $30K brand new.
The same truck is $40K today. So, a $10K increase in 9 years.
Inflation is the only way out of the trillions and trillions they fabricated out of thin air. All of it needlessly done because of a mild disease. The cure is going to be far worse than the disease.
The US deficit hit $1 trillion before the first COVID case reached American shores. This has been going on for quite awhile.
Fuel prices go up, transportation expenses increase costs. Consumer always pays.
My mother and her 3 sisters were married during the great depression. They could have been Home Econ. teachers.
My wife’s mother could have the 5th Home Econ. teacher.
They would buy these cleaning supplies on sale and store them until you need/use them.
We did that a year ago when CV 19 hit.
Time to restock before the prices go up.
All 4 of my children, born in the 1970s, wore cloth diapers. It’s not that big a deal to launder them.
That is true, but COVID gave impetus to even more wild spending and the ridiculous free money binge. Just this morning, Biden proposed another Democrat wet dream $1 trillion program with all the favored Dem give-aways.

Agree. I doubt that they even sell cloth diapers any more. I had to wash mine. That was early late early 60’s. Maybe it’s time to go back to doing it yourself! Convenience has a prize!
You do what has to be done. That’s a good parent, ready for the responsibility.
