I can show you sovereign border after sovereign border over the past hundred years that wasn't so sovereign after all. The old rules are the only ones that ultimately apply. You own the territory you take and keep by force. Period.
Considering how this country is going, I don’t give a s___ about Russia and Ukraine.
Those plants must use some massive water pipelines. I would think it would have been cheaperr to built some new treatment plants then to potentially go to war.
Ukraine should have diverted their effluent (treated waste water) from their sewer treatment plants to Crimea. Now that would have been funny.
It's dumb analogy. We haven't had a revolution that resulted in the overthrow of our President and Congress. But, if that did happen, those towns should have the right.
Plus, our nation has had a lot more stable history than Ukraine. Nations in Eastern Europe, post communism, have been in constant flux. And, there is nothing wrong with that. We shouldn't arrogantly be setting the boundaries for these countries. That is there business.
We have had talk about Texas and state secession after the rigged election. How is that any different?
keep by force, 100%
the old adage: you can take anything you want, the question becomes, are you strong enough keep it
