President Ronald Reagan----who was a masterful judge of human nature -----called
Biden a "pure" demagogue. That was back when Biden had at least two legs to stand on.

Fast forward to 2021----he's now in his dotage-----Biden’s still a demagogue, but a mincing demagogue.

A demagogue is popularly described as a conniving politician who exploits the crass biases of his voting base to keep them in his camp.

=================================================

Biden stays awake nights, dreaming up one trillion dollar giveaway after another to generate public approval----
and, by God, it's working.......... Biden supposedly has (cough) high approval ratings.

Favored Democrat voters---the identity types----are cashing in bigtime.

Too bad Biden is too stupid to govern by admirable displays of public service, or by initiating good public policy.

He engages in diversion, distraction, by satisfying the immediate crass requirements of a chosen few.

The Roman poet, Juvenal, originated the phrase, "bread and circuses" to decry the "self-absorption" of such
politicians and their followers, and their neglect of wider concerns, failing to see civic duty to their country as a priority.
