My thought exactly.
They can convict now if they want, but it’ll be appealed immediately and undoubtedly overturned.
The sensible thing to do for the current “judge” is simply declare and mistrial, and maybe..maybe...it’ll be turned over to someone who’s competent as a judge.
How is a new judge going to find a jury that is free of the taint of Maxine's threats?
He probably should have sequestered the jury. I think I read somewhere he didn't. But it's' still Maxine's fault. She should be charged with Jury Tampering.
The judge should just acquit him saying that it's impossible for him to get a fair trail.
This is only the latest of things that has happened that would make this a miss trial in my opinion. For example, refusing the change of venue is a huge issue. That should’ve been enough in my opinion.
