I agree (I think)... I was the only one in class that aced trig so fast. Most of the other students were more puzzled with Trig (even after a semester of it) than I was with Geometry.. lol

With Trig, everything just seemed to fit into place (like a puzzle).

Thats the way it should be. Let them serve their time with grunts before trying again. Maybe it will make them better officers in the long run.

If you had to take calculus in college before getting your commission, you should have been smart enough to know you shouldn't get on boats that are designed to sink!

/chuckle...actually, I'm thankful for Americans willing to serve on subs, as a former ground pounder I preferred to stay out of the water.
