Not sure of your destination here, but it might be better to stay in one of the boutique hotels, or bed and breakfasts, rather than a chain.
If you post it on the Texas Board, you will probably get a quick response. It’s a very active board.
Just checked out of a hotel in San Antonio - hubs here on Army Reserve drill, boys cam down to join us last night. They got their own room. I guess we were lucky. Lots of high school teams from out of town in our hotel and one next to us. Front desk was telling people they were almost 100%, had some ADA rooms left. Definitely busy.
