This slave trade is just the latest way for Party members to profit and help the CCP push its non-Han Chinese Uighurs into oblivion.
Using these people to harvest cotton is another as this scheme ties directly in the apparel trade. Big names like Nike et al when discovered using cotton in their products denounce that use (whether they stop using it or not is another issue).
This proclamation by the companies has the effect of pissing off the CCP activists, who then buy up lots of their products and destroy them - from sneakers to iPhones. These demonstration push others to buy the same sort of product from small shops owned by CCP party members or loyalists, thus increasing the CCP’s overall profits.
These are just two examples of how the CCP is using the Uighurs to profit (money is everything in China, a nation obsessed with making money), both for the Party and its members.
Of course, pro sports needs more sneakers and jerseys! Colin Kaepernick ain’t gonna get rich on his talents! Its about the gross profit, man!
