Again had 80 with 25 in covid icu 1/11/21.
“Zero cases in the hospital today!”
That is a real milestone event.
We may have some stragglers, but the vaccine uptake is already so high among the at risk groups (over 80% of folks over 65 already had a first shot), and the pace of new vaccination is so high (and will continue accelerating), I don’t think a new wave will be able to mount, before herd immunity drives this disease down.
The beginning of the end.
The anti-vaxers can’t call this vaccine “experimental” any more — after 206 million people in the US alone have gotten it, choosing to assume the risk of any problems.
