I agree. We have reacted as if this is the return of the bubonic plague from medieval Europe. Once all the virus restrictions are lifted, we may look back and see that we overreacted and didn’t consider any collateral damage caused by locking down society.
And to think this all started with two weeks of shutdown to flatten the curve.
