Every state is sovereign with its own laws, and if they don’t meet your desires and expectations then you may freely relocate to a state with laws more to your liking.

After college and finishing my active duty in the Navy we moved to the DC area and loved it for awhile.
Then, MLK was killed and the DC area quickly became the role model of our current Blue Cities. Great for the elites and their worshipers and not so great for the rest of us.
We left and moved to California and live in a good place with great neighbors and about an hour+ from the ocean.
We will probably spend the rest of our life here, or if my wife’s family and some of mine move to Floriduh. We might end up in some type of enclave there for most of the year.

Just love places where spiders the size of my hand are the state bug and earthquakes outnumber hurricanes.
Been everywhere from Diego to San Fran and must say it greatly increased my appreciation for good old Floriduh.
