PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Authorities are investigating after a group of undocumented immigrants were found during a traffic stop in Chandler.
Video from the Arizona Department of Transportation cameras showed about a dozen immigrants on the shoulder of Interstate 10 and Ray Road. DPS troopers and Chandler police officers were on the scene while the group who entered the country illegally sat on the side of the road.
This immigration stop happened less than a mile away from a hotel where ICE is housing some migrants. While the two scenes are very close to each other they are not related.
Arizona’s Family is working to gather more details on the this morning’s situation.

Notice the headline doesn't proudly announce "...undocumented immigrants were apprehended during a traffic stop..."

Notice the headline doesn't proudly announce "...undocumented immigrants were apprehended during a traffic stop..." Wouldn't apprehended imply they were arrested, or worse, that they had done something wrong?

Umm...the other 300,000 illegals living in Guadalupe, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Queen Creek, Gilbert and of course South Phoenix were unimpeded on their travels around South Maricopa county that day.
What’s remarkable is that any one noticed.

I noticed, that, too.
My brother lives in the East Valley, very nice area near Queen Creek, and he thinks his nice subdivision is immune from this activity. He couldn’t be more wrong. Crime is increasing everywhere around the Valley not to mention the presence of illegals.
