But I got my shot so that those who are unnecessarily full of fear and loathing (and sadly, many of my friends are), they will not need to be full of fear and loathing of me.

No, you got it because you are unnecessarily full of fear. Otherwise you would have simply lied to those around you and accomplished the same thing.

This says clearly that many of those who receive the shots -- you know ... to be "socially responsible" and because "we're all in this together" and other such mindless mantras -- say they are doing so to dispel fear in others. Therefore, they are admitting that although they question the effectiveness of these experimental "vaccines" to protect themselves, they assume the myriad risks of doing so not so much to address a medical concern but rather to address a psychological fear. Sounds to me to be much like masking: Although masking does little -- arguably absolutely nothing -- to stop transmission of a virus, it does serve a deep-seated psychological need to be "safe", failing to understand that wearing a garlic braid around the neck would be just as effective -- and just as foolish -- as wearing a mask, though much less dehumanizing.
Boy! The lies of the politicians and especially of the "medical experts" have really done a number on billions of people. A human tragedy of epic proportions, far outweighing the damage caused by the Chinese evil spirit, Covid.
