This is the democrat version of failure theater, except that unlike the GOP they eventually get what they’re looking for. Leftist dems introduce radical bill calling for radical changes to government. Pubbies go “REE!” and raise a stink. Moderates and establishment types wonder if the dems have gone too far this time and make some phone calls threatening to pull their donations if Pelosi and Schumer don’t get their ducks back into a row. Pelosi acts like the voice of reason to show that she still has control of the leftists... and later, once the emotion dies down, ends up passing 90% of what the radicals wanted.
