Biden is a freaking putz. Putin has his number down to the tenth decimal place. All he did was prove to the world that he’s an impotent, ineffective, scared old man that desperately needs a nap before he wets himself again.
The benefit of paying a bribe to a grifter like Biden is the Russians can then use that payment forever as blackmail. If Biden doesn’t do what the Russians want, or the Chinese want, or whoever Biden has taken bribe money from, then Russia or China simply presents all the info about the bribe in public.

I will never understand how and in what manner the US and NATO ever in a million years thought they could defend Ukraine from whatever the hell Russia wanted to do there. When the USSR dissolved, the West thought they could poke a demoralized Russia in the eye with Ukraine by inviting Ukr into NATO. As if Russia would just roll over and acquiesce. A misconception easily on par with the attack on Pearl Harbor or the Nazi invasion of the USSR in 1941.
