George Floyd's girlfriend was Daunte Wright's high school teacher, it has emerged, in a tragic link between the two families.
Courteney Ross spoke of her connection to the 20-year-old after appearing at a joint press conference with the Floyds and the Wrights and attorney Ben Crump on Tuesday.
Her boyfriend George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis in May last year after cop Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck while Daunte Wright was shot dead by officer Kimberly Potter during a traffic stop in a city suburb Sunday.

He was a 'silly boy, as goofy as can be,' and 'needed a lot of love,' Ross told the Washington Post.
'Students like Daunte needed more resources but they never got more resources,' she told the publication.
'Our system doesn't serve kids like Daunte. And now I'm seeing, more than ever, this system I once believed in, we're done doing what we need to be doing to protect Black life.'

He had 2 parents I believe. One was his father.
What system is that? The welfare-government one that replaced families, religion, and moral education?
Both of which probably failed as parents.

I'm not even sure what's she trying to say here. And her connection to the late Mr-resisting-arrest-with-an-outstanding-warrant seems very very tenuous.

Drug use etc, shows that she’s an outstanding model of stable decision making and should be trusted to instruct more young people into a life of model behaviors...
