Russia, China warn Biden at same time to stay out of Ukraine, Taiwan

On Tuesday, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov warned President Joe Biden’s administration against getting involved in Ukraine, amid Russian forces massing on the Ukrainian border. Also on Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian warned the Biden administration against getting involved in Taiwan.

According to Reuters, Russia’s Ryabkov said “The United States is our adversary and does everything it can to undermine Russia’s position on the world stage. We do not see any other elements in their approach. Those are our conclusions.”

Ryabkov went on to say, “We warn the United States that it will be better for them to stay far away from Crimea and our Black Sea coast. It will be for their own good.”

On the same day Ryabkov warned the U.S. and other NATO nations against supporting Ukraine, China’s Zhao warned the U.S. against “playing with fire” by interacting with Taiwan.

“The Taiwan question concerns China’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and core interests. There is zero room for compromise and not an inch to give,” Zhao said during a Tuesday press conference. “We urge the U.S. side to grasp the situation, earnestly abide by the one-China principle and the three China-US joint communiqués, refrain from playing with fire, immediately stop official contact with Taiwan in any form, prudently and properly handle Taiwan-related issues, and avoid sending any wrong signals to the ‘Taiwan independence’ forces, lest it should shake the foundation of China-US relations and peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.”

Don’t worry, he will. It is only because Biden won the election, both China and Russia know they have free passes on Ukraine and Taiwan. Almost as free a pass as illegals have to enter at the southern border.

Biden is a whimp with no spine and is already indebted to china for 1.5 BILLION DOLLARS that China gave to his crime family.

China will get a return on their money as biden steps aside and gives them Taiwan on a silver platter.

Clearly they each perceive Biden admin as totally weak and vulnerable to pressure. Having no person of competence in the government invites testing the waters for aggression by adversaries. Obviously they assume, probably rightly, that under pressure Blinken will blink. Storm clouds gather.

Taiwan is our business, Ukraine isn’t.

Putin will indeed snatch Donbas shortly. Count on it. It is ethnically Russian. Of course all the natural gas in the Donetz Basin comes with it.

A piece of Georgia here, add a little Crimea there, pretty soon a bigger nation with a warm water port is assured with people who speak Russian. Why wouldn’t Putin do it? What is Biden gonna do? Bribe the President of Ukraine $1 billion to fire a prosecutor? Europe is closed, they will do zero as usual.

Majority of folks in Donbass want to be a part of Russia, nobody in Taiwan wants to join Communist China.

It’s my understanding that we have international treaty obligation to defend Taiwan

That’s fine. If things get out of hand, we can stop Russia at the western border of Germany.

Maybe the PLA will demonstrate and ruse, while Russia takes real estate. And Russia might return the favor to China afterwards.

My bet is that Taiwan was “negotiated” long before China committed to dragging Joe across the finish line. Just like Czechoslovakia at Mûnich.

I, frankly, don’t know how nations in the world can ever trust the US, again, with the criminal election that we just accepted. Criminals run our country and its word isn’t worth spit.

>>It’s my understanding that we have international treaty obligation to defend Taiwan<<

That was my understanding as well...until a few weeks ago. We do have a pact with Taiwan, but it is more of a defense support agreement. We sell them arms that will enable them to defend themselves.

That probably will work just about as well as “Vietnamization” did.

Beware war with a country that WANTS to lose millions of citizens to a “righteous cause”.

“Don’t worry, he will. “

Unfortunately, he’s likely to get them both wrong.

By intervening in Ukraine and leaving the hinge of the South China Sea to its fate.

“If things get out of hand, we can stop Russia at the western border of Germany.”

And NATO should be reduced to only that which is west of the Rhine.
