If there were a way to get the names of the contributors, I suspect that a strong majority would be white liberals.
In many sections of Minneapolis and the suburbs where people have Black Lives Matter lawn signs in their yards, they are (from what I’ve seen so far) white liberals.

You are correct. The mansions along the River Road are all owned/occupied by city officials and U of M senior staff. There are many BLM signs in front yards.
