These people have had decades to do something about this. The GOP is being hypocritical about the border.
What “should” happen is the border should be closed. Humans. Trucks. Trains. Airplanes.
How long would a completely close border last before Congress got off their collective, bipartisan asses, and did something.
I am beginning to think the people on FR really, honestly believe that the GOP has a plan. Or the guts to implement a plan.
The GOP has no plan. They haven’t had a plan. They are not passing any plan any time soon.
Back in the eighties, I was liberal politically, except for being pro-life, convinced that Reagan was going to get us into a central American Vietnam War.
And then he signed the illegal immigration amnesty, and I was suddenly more conservative than the President. He incentivized illegal immigration. Amnesty every decade or two because we’re soft hearted idiots who can’t see how numbers trend.
There has been a war all right, and we are losing.

I am no longer a Republian. The last 6 years convinced me it was futile because they looked, acted and sounded like democrats.
I am a conservative and as such it is not hard for me to figure out who I will vote for at any time now. What I don’t understand yet is how it is taking so long to decide to separate our red states from the blue. Pretty soon it will be too late.
