Has DeSantis Become More Dangerous to Democrats Than Trump?
Epoch Times ^ | 9 Apr 2021 | Roger L Simon

Unlike, say, Albert Einstein who did not “settle” for Isaac Newton, the powers that be at YouTube evidently believe in that oxymoron “settled science.” They have removed, lest we ignoramuses be misled into believing or even being exposed to anything that was said, a panel discussion on the response to COVID-19—the masks and the lockdowns—with four public health experts from Stanford University, the University of Oxford, and Harvard Medical School.

Why censor then, given the impeccable backgrounds of the participants? The unspecified medical experts at YouTube/Google/Alphabet could undoubtedly spout some reasons the science in their “humble” opinions is settled on these matters (until Anthony Fauci changes his for the umpteenth time).

But the views of the four panel experts are readily available elsewhere, so why bother to block them?

Well, that may be true, but these experts appeared in a lengthy panel discussion led by Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida.

Imagine a long and serious panel on something scientific led by the current president of the United States. For that matter, imagine the current president passing a high school physics test.

So the Democrats are seeing a problem down the road, a problem with the potential of growing even bigger than Donald Trump, if such a thing were possible, a Republican presidential candidate who is considerably smarter than they are and, thus far, keeps his cool and is willing to punch back at their excesses.

Besides that, he might be more appealing to the “soccer moms” than Trump.

Better to wipe him out now. And who better to do that than Big Tech? DeSantis doesn’t like them—he’s initiating legislation to diminish their power—and they, for that and other reasons, certainly don’t like him.

DeSantis certainly looks good for 2024. That's why he's being so relentlessly attacked already.

And when he wins in 2022, he'll be battle-tested for 2024.

Yup. If President Trump chooses not to run, I hope he backs DeSantis early and often.

The Democrats fear Tucker. Would imagine that critical numbers of young people, sickened by the constant propaganda and freedom infringing realities they are suffering are watching him avidly.

DeSantis has one huge advantage over Trump.

He’s a governor, which means he already has a good team working for him, guys he knows and trusts. Trump never had that.

DeSantis can bring these guys to Washington DC with him.

The Ministry of Truth has set it’s sights on DeSantis and Matt Gaetz.

Next in line, no doubt, are Jim Jordan and Devin Nunes.

Any strong arm Republicans the Dems are targeting. Getz, Desantis, Pompeo, Jim and a few others.

I don’t know if this will translate nationally, but here in the state DeSantis is surprisingly popular with the twentysomething crowd. There’s a visceral appreciation for him because unlike Cuomo and Newsom, DeSantis did not shut down the restaurant & bar industry.

The media - I think intentionally - has really underreported how incredibly unpopular these lockdowns became with twentysomethings.

I know several people in Florida that are not Trump fans, but they LOVE DeSantis.

DeSantis is nobodies fool. Period.

Consider one of his very first acts as governor. He got rid of the corrupt democrat operatives in charge of elections in Dade and Palm Beach counties in FL. The counties that had all kinds of voting irregularities in prior elections.

FL ran a silky smooth election despite Covid.

As executive of the state his conduct during Covid has been masterful. His #1 priority from the outset was to protect the elderly and vulnerable population while allowing those at very little risk to live their lives.

It worked.

He also despises the media and he knows the games they play. He routinely calls them out and is not afraid to mix it up with them.

The guy is solid and has a real track record to back it up.

I’d have to say, so far, he’s got all of Trump’s plusses and none of the minuses.

I really hope it works out that Trump is the one who galvanizes people to vote for DeSantis.

Maybe in the end this is Trump’s true contribution, getting a guy like DeSantis in the White House, it never could have happened without Trump winning in 2016, though.

Xiden will probably give amnesty to 30-40 million illegals and make sure all have a guaranteed income with all kinds of free stuff. I don’t hold much hope for another conservative in the White House.

Me too. My neighbors - retired Jewish couple from NYC - asked me if a saw that ‘hit piece’ (their words) from 60 Minutes. They thought it was horrible and that DeSantis should sue them for all their worth. They also had a Biden sign in their yard until January. Go figure.

On a local level of interest, DeSantis also rid the South Florida Water Management of its entrenched Board members after his discussions with Brian Mast. This was a huge step in the right direction. The entrenched board extended the lease for sugar growers instead of using the land as a reservoir for releases to be cleansed before they reach the estuaries. Recently, the “environmentalists” have been whining about the lack of their interests on the Board (a clear indication DeSantis did the right thing).

When the neo marxists realize that De Santis is Trump’s replacement, they will begin prepping a dozen or so bimbos with their made up stories. They will entrap him in a staged situation to be able to distort his words and turn him into a racist.
Then all their energies will be focused on their new mortal enemy. But all the time Trump will be giving him support through his new media initiatives.

They think so. Which is why the media is ganging up on him.

I don’t think Trump will run again. He’s passing fhe baton to Desantis.
