Yes, Phillip was Harry's blood grandfather. The pictures of Phillip as a young man being published now show quite a resemblance. But although Phillip was from a Greek and Danish royal family, he is not the sovereign. Harry's position as 6th in the line of succession to the throne comes through Harry's grandmother, Elizabeth II.
