Results of the study: COVID-19 vaccines designed to elicit neutralising antibodies may sensitise vaccine recipients to more severe disease than if they were not vaccinated. Vaccines for SARS, MERS and RSV have never been approved, and the data generated in the development and testing of these vaccines suggest a serious mechanistic concern ....that may worsen COVID-19 disease via antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE).
"This risk is sufficiently obscured in clinical trial protocols and consent forms for ongoing COVID-19 vaccine trials that adequate patient comprehension of this risk is unlikely to occur, obviating truly informed consent by subjects in these trials."
I think that’s more then died from covid at this time last year.
Well, at this point there simply is no evidence of ADE being a concern with the way the mRNA vaccines were developed for COVID. And breakthrough cases were always to be expected even with the outstanding efficacy of the mRNA vaccines.
Let’s hope this remains so.
To me, the biggest threat to a return to normalcy is the Brazillian variant that’s lurking out there since it is reported to make even the healthy young very sick.

Au contrare, it is the propaganda of the anti-vaxxers that has FAILED MISERABLY. Looking at the comments on this thread, it’s clear that they frenetically, hysterically are still trying their best. Despite all their lies, misinformation and anger THEY’RE STILL FAILING... over 4 million Americans went out of their way in this latest 24 hour period to obtain a hard-to-get vaccine shot. And tomorrow? Tomorrow millions of other Americans will get a shot. And that is a very good thing for our nation.

The links I provided specifically targeted the Covid-19 trials, trial participants and future patients. It could not be any plainer than that - trial participants and patients receiving the Covid vax are at greater risk for becoming sicker with Covid-19 than they would have been if not vaxxed.
CDC VAERS is replete with accounts of people ‘developing’ Covid abruptly. News reports are starting to highlight ‘breakthrough’.

So they report. I guess they have other sources, beyond just Emergent BioSolutions. They have been airlifting some doses from their Netherlands factory since they started delivery, and maybe Merck has started low rate production.
J&J really juices up the stats, counting as both first dose and fully vaccinated.

nbc aired tonight Law and Order; Organized Crime, in which a crime family hijacked a shipment of China Virus vaccines causing multiple deaths in the process of the crime.
Doctors on the payroll were giving shots to wealthy "patients" who wanted the vaxx.
Pure propaganda to give urgency for the vaxx.
Merck contracting manufacture, yes. Developing their own— NO. Quite clear in the public statements as to the lack of preventive efficacy. See the public statement, from the worlds number one leader in development of vaccines, and also, in this case seriously promising therapeutics against this SARS variant and any others.

It has almost got to be at some point. I am guessing that next month should see the curves bend downward for good.
If J&J had delivered as planned, we’d have another 10% (or more) of the population fully vaccinated by now.
Even so, the cumulative effect of immunity through exposure and vaccination is getting overwhelming. Vaccination is now dwarfing the marginal effect of new natural exposures - a full one percent of American adults received a first shot, just in the last 24 hour reporting period.
In 2-3 weeks, 60% of adults will have their first shots - sometimes discussed as a possible threshold for herd immunity. There is an additional 2-4 week delay for immunity to develop after a first shot, but we have all the folks who have already had COVID mixed out there as well.
It has got to start sputtering out, in the face of all this vaccine.

That is the opposite of the truth.
The effectiveness (95% for Pfizer, 94% for Moderna) proven in the strictly controlled and reviewed trials, is precisely the reduction in risk for getting sick with COVID-19, as compared to those not vaxxed.
It is not a theory, it is fact. Over 700 million shots of vaccine have been administered around the world already for COVID-19. The protective effect has been validated again and again.
It is absurd to make the claim that you did.
That was the normal drop off of any contagion in any population - no vaccine was needed. But what is going to increase, if they will even report it, is breakthrough cases which are more severe.
The articles cited appear to be related to to informing consent ethics for the original vaccine testing and not related to actual events that have occurred in the year plus since vaccine testing and deployment.
Maybe I am reading it wrong.
