I am a medical researcher, and I like to think I have an open mind on this subject. I don’t have the articles in front of me, but I’m fairly sure that the studies were not randomized double-blind studies. Few parents would volunteer for such. So my question is, wouldn’t parents who don’t vaccinate tend to be the type who are hyper-vigilant about their kid’s health? If so, wouldn’t we EXPECT them to have healthier kids?
I’d love to see the NIH or CDC pay “undecided” parents to participate in a randomized controlled study for 10 years.

(2) Although cystic fibrosis is a chronic illness, it is a genetic disease and it is currently unknown whether it can be exacerbated by vaccines.
It would be nice if we could have more independent studies. We don’t have enough, across the board.
