Amen. MRNA are not vaccines, I find the ones that believe the vaccines are sinister are God fearing people as I am. Many discussions with believers I have heard the same: these shots are wrong/sinister/ evil/......the Spirit is alive in us, God protects his flock, which is exactly why the MSM is posting “ studies” stating the most pushback is by Christians....stay strong, the attacks are ramping up on us.

That’s a misconception that gene therapy has to be permanent or must integrate in to the chromosome.
And you meant to say “alter the human genome” not gene.

I said it is not necessary for integration in to the genome for something to be gene therapy.
Adenovirus for example is used as a gene therapy vector and it does not integrate in to the genome as does a retroviral vector.

Why do you keep repeating this?
They are time tested and for viruses which do not mutate as quickly as corona viruses or influenza.
Pretending that just because they are both viruses means that the vaccines, which the mRNA is not, should theoretically work the same, is foolishness. You don’t guess with people’s health.
Show us the long term success of the treatment in preventing disease and not harming the person, and you could have a case for pushing these so-called vaccines.
Otherwise, you are deceiving people.
Because misrepresenting what people say is all they have in their arsenal to try to discredit someone who doesn’t agree with them.

The technology has been around about 30 years. Prior to this go ‘round, they have killed test animals when the animals were exposed to a second virus -— after a waiting period. Those were never used.
My understanding is these very issues, and other concerns, are why these MRNA ‘’vaccines’’ are not FDA approved. They are for EMERGENCY use, only.

Fair enough. But considering genes contain our DNA most would construe "gene therapy" as altering DNA. And to be clear, the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are NOT gene therapy either.
No. It is gene therapy in introducing a gene which is in turn expressed for therapeutic purposes.
It would be nice if we could have more independent studies. We don’t have enough, across the board.
Gene therapy is not only altering DNA, that’s your misconception.
It is introducing genes to be expressed in to the body for therapeutic purposes. It may or may not alter existing DNA.
I will say that you could be correct these vaccines are not gene therapy in that vaccines aren’t therapy per se but prophylactic.
The FDA defines gene therapy as modification of a person’s genes to treat or cure disease, which is not what messenger RNA vaccination does. No genes are added, removed, or altered in any way.

Why don’t you quote from the FDA or from the RAC directly rather than some lay site.
The problem is the term “altering DNA”. How are you define that?
Are you interested in gene therapy?
Care to explain what changes to genes occurs with the COVID mRNA vaccine?
And as I said earlier, considering DNA contains one’s genes while not technically altering DNA people rightly don’t differentiate between the two in regards to changes to the human body.
