We spent the first part of this week driving to the beach and then playing bridge with good friends.

No masks while driving and after checking into our room.

Walking outside in an 8-10 mph wind no real masks needed.

We did wear masks when we got into line to order our evening dinner.

Then driving home from the beach yesterday with no masks and no masks after our arrival home and last night.

This afternoon I went to a grocery store to buy food and wore my mask after having to go back to my car, to get it.

The mask, I wore for about an hour is the blue/green surgical disposable one. I took it off as soon as I was back in the parking lot, after shopping and checking out for about an hour.

It took about 3 hours for my breathing to return to normal after only wearing even a flimsy mask for about an hour.

Two years ago with the forest fires, I discovered that a few hours or less with a N95 mask took me several hours to recover to normal breathing.

What the hell are these masks doing to Americans wearing them for hours and then repeating that use during their next shift.

I’ve worn one of those clear face shields on glasses frames, inside stores, and nobody gave me any flak over it.

Protects my eyes, as well as my nose and mouth.
