My oldest daughter is a recent Duke grad. She hated it, particularly the last two years. You wouldn’t believe some of the crazy antics she had to endure and she was in Pratt. I guess what goes on at Trinity can only be described as insane.

Our other daughter is at Notre Dame (like her mom & dad) and not having a great time either although it’s - surprisingly - not quite as crazy as Duke. I think this is just a horrible moment of time to go to college generally, but it seems to be worse at blue-chip schools. The Ivies? Just forget about it.

Maybe all things considered, some place like Hillsdale would be better presuming you’re not working towards a science or engineering degree.

In case you can't tell by my name, I too am an engineer. When I was there it was not yet "Pratt" until they sold the name to the highest bidder.

I wonder if Duke is still whoring itself out to the Chinese? In guess where? Wuhan! Now why does that name ring a bell.
