I suggested in another thread last week that Texans should refuse to sell property or employ anybody from California unless they want to become “Californianized”. One FReeper in particular was butthurt, yet that is the only way I see conservative states remaining red.

Thirteen percent of registered San Francisco residents are republicans. Trump also got 13 percent of the vote last year, here.
There is a San Francisco GOP. some good people too. Yes we are pushed into more socially liberal ways but still us socons are allowed/welcomed.
I have known twelve adults well enough to know how they vote who have moved to Texas in the last several years, mostly from California.
One is a Bernie bot. The rest vote republican, some with a libertarian influence. Texas was improved overall.
Like cancer cells.
We left more than a decade ago and I feel validated every year that goes by. Soon it will only be Uber wealthy liberal dbags and street people. The middle and working classes have been gutted, and the historic black neighborhoods were gentrified years ago (mostly by Asians)
